Seems like these apps are stealing money by way of suspending and banning accounts. No explanation just ghost. Tiktok does the same thing….

They suspended me after only 1/2 week, and I barely had anything up.

Etsy denied an appeal to let me open a shop now, 10 years after my original shop was closed down due to family medical emergencies. They straight up ignored my emails, messages, and pleas to answer me. And they kept all the money I made in the few days when my shop was open. They lied to me and said after 180 amount of days I could log back in and transfer my money. But after those 180 days they told me to wait, they locked me out and kept my money. Etsy is the epitome of corporate greed and does NOT care about their sellers anymore. But also wondering... if our shops are suspended, does that mean we are free to create or join any class action lawsuit since we are not sellers anymore and our shops and accounts don't exist anymore? 🤔

You said you opened a second shop. OF COURSE that one got shut down, too. It's against TOS to open another shop once you've been banned from Etsy. So you're basically upset about something that happened in 2021 and then went ahead and broke Etsy rules by opening another shop.

Ok, but first I will see some reviews of store domain, I building my own brand and I want to protect from the market place injustice!!!

Do they completely ignore the fact that Aliexpress, Alibaba, Temu steal the sellers photos? I've seen my own photos on there before. If that's the only way they are determining that something is mass produced but sold as handmade then they're making a huge mistake.

They suspended my brand new store 24 hours after I opened it. I had managed to fill out the basic account info, but hadn't put any products up - that was back in January, I've put in multiple appeals and have heard nothing back. Now I'm looking into ebay, tiktok shop, etc because I cannot be dealing with this anymore.

I don't have a store yet, buy I knew right away, I would have to have a website that is my own. If you start an ETSY website, have another website, your website, up and running. While you are on ETSY, keep building sales and traffic on your website. In time, you can just dump ETSY, or keep both, and if ETSY decides to shut you down, you will be just fine.

Yes, as a new Etsy seller, I tried for 6 weeks to get an answer, emailing numerous times, and received NOTHING!! No response, no assistance, no customer service and so I swapped over to Shopify - omg! I receive a response from an actual person, within hours of submitting an email. For such a big platform, I found the whole experience extremely disappointing.

Unfortunately, if "customers" complain about your shop or your products or your service, it's reason to suspend something - but I think a lot of these complaints from "customers" are actually from other Etsy sellers who are selling a similar product. It's their way of getting rid of the competition.

Etsy was either VINTAGE or HANDMADE, now it's hundreds of thousands of mass produced junk products.

Facebook will delete your account for their own algo mistakes and then completely ghost you, not a thing you do will matter, and they will basically deny you exist.

1. Most websites generally can withhold why they deleted/restricted your account. They have the right to that via slimy ToS. 2. Do not use SquareSpace and such services. It's not "your" website. You are paying to have them host it and if they break your existing website (with potentially custom code) you'll need to fix it yourself. If you have the knowledge just code and host it yourself or pay someone to make a barebones website for you which you'll be able to customize and then either host, once again, yourself or use an actually good provider who won't screw you over. And even IF that were to happen, guess what, you can simply take your website and move it to a new provider. With Square you can't do that, it'll be very difficult to get anything off of that service to reuse somewhere else.
